Or 17 lbs 15.5 oz to be exact.
Lindsay's four month appointment was this past Thursday. She's in the 97th percentile for her height and weight, so we're not yet worried about the influence of super skinny models on her self-image. This was our first appointment with her new doctor, and I'm very pleased. She was easy to talk to, not condescending, answered my questions (even the inconsequential ones), and was competent! She even has a baby of her own.
The doctor said Lindsay is "thriving" which gave me warm fuzzies because in the back of my head there's always this fear that I'm totally screwing things up somehow.
Peter was there at this visit because Lindsay got her shots, and I need moral support. They went fine, apart from the mother/daughter duo crying team. She wasn't too fussy the next day either. For her next shots, we get to use ibuprofen! Bring in the big guns.
In other Lindsay news, she has found her voice. During church this Sunday she was vocalizing very loudly, "Aaaaaah." "AAaaaoooo." "Aa." "*Squeal*" We spent quite a lot of time in the hallway.

No question about it--she's very cute.
I hate to say it, but she's outdone Clark in the weight-department. Our last visit (at 7 months) he was 16 lbs 4 oz. She is definitely a cutie, though, and I LOVE the chubby thighs! I wish Clark had some of those...
Wow--that is one big baby! My little girl has been in the 10th percentile her whole life and is just petite. She weighed 17 pounds when she turned one! Isn't it amazing how kids can be so different?
:) That picture is hilarious!! Penelope might give her a run for her money considering she weighs 11 pounds already at barely 2 months!

Rachel- She was average when she was born. But, man, she grew fast!
foxyj- I know! I'm kind of wishing mine was smaller. She's a pain to carry around already! And there's no more walking in with her in her bucket carseat.
Jessi- I want to see Penelope chubby cheeks pictures!
Jodie- The thighs are very fun, and good for a laugh! I'm hoping she slows down the weight gaining soon, though.

She's gorgeous! Oliver was watching the video and thought it was great! He kept smiling--he must know they're cousins! :)
One day she will steal those thigh photos from you and burn them!
