Pictures From the Hospital and Coming Home

I'm sitting in bed with Kate blissfully sleeping on my chest while everyone else is at church. Things have slowed down enough for me to post some pictures of the last few days. Enjoy!

Peter's first time holding Kate.

Lindsay's first look at her little sister. She was so excited to give her a balloon. Probably more excited about that than the baby. :)

"Do you want to hold the baby?" "Um, no thanks!" Lindsay was a little unsure about the Kate thing. She's warming up to her now. As long as she doesn't cry...

All clean and chillin' in bed. The nurses gave her a cute pink bow.

Our new and improved Family 2.0!

Lindsay finally agreed to hold Kate. It went pretty well. She liked pointing out all of Kate's body parts. "There's her nose, and fingers, and cheeks..."

Snuggling with Daddy.

Out of those hospital clothes and into the going home outfit! She cried, but her cuteness was totally worth it.

Hanging out, waiting for the nurse to come and discharge us. We waited for about an hour. Apparently there were other people in line ahead of us. What's up with that?!

Matchy matchy!
One of the nurses made Lindsay a Big Sister hospital bracelet, too, so she wouldn't feel left out. Lindsay was thrilled, and I don't exaggerate.

Home finally! Family portrait time. I think Kate will fit in great. She looks good with us.

:)

You guys are so good to get some pictures of you all together - we never did that at the hospital or soon after coming home. We're so lame. Anyway, KATE IS GREAT! :)
