On Christmas morning Peter told Lindsay that Santa had come, and a look of terror came onto her face. After we told her that he had already left, she relaxed and went to check out the stocking that said Santa had filled.
"Mommy, can you help me reach it? Mommy? Mommy?" I could not come fast enough.
Lindsay opening her stocking: "There's something in there! There's something in there!"
She got a toothbrush, a bracelet, retractable crayons, candy, and a tangerine.
Her big "Santa" present was a play kitchen. Her reaction was great, as you can see. Intake of breath, hands up to mouth, wide eyes. Perfect.
"Smile Lindsay!" Er, okay that works, I guess.
I'm so festive.Or clashing.
Lindsay was very skilled at opening her presents this year. She gained some unwrapping skills since last year.
Best wrapping job of the year goes to...
My brother Bryan! Can you guess what it is? Can you? Can you?
My youngest brother, Josh, was Santa's helper, aka forced into passing out all the presents while wearing a hat. Lindsay is in the background probably helping Papa open his present.
Lindsay using her much improved present-opening-skills to help Kate open her gifts. Kate liked the paper most of all this Christmas. It crinkled nicely.
Grammy and grand girls. Lindsay had already confiscated Kate's freshly unwrapped toy, a set of plastic keys to teethe on.
The girls' gift from Peter's parents. This gift also got a good reaction out of Lindsay.
I can't decide if this picture or the hammer wrapping picture is the funniest picture from Christmas.
Hope everyone had a Happy Holidays!

I had forgotten about her terrified reaction to Santa coming to our house! It is a creepy notion.
